1. COURSES
1.1 If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to class, they will not be allowed to enter. This measure is taken to prevent interruptions and to respect the time of other students.
1.2 Courses are contracted directly with the school. The school does not guarantee specific teachers, classrooms, or schedules and reserves the right to make necessary changes.
1.3 All online reservations are subject to confirmation via email.
1.4 A class lasts either 50 or 90 minutes, depending on the program.
1.5 Courses are offered in the morning and afternoon. The school assigns students to the group that best matches their level. Class schedules are subject to change. Schedule preferences must be communicated at the time of booking, but their assignment is not guaranteed.
1.6 If a student’s Spanish level is unsuitable for the reserved course, the school reserves the right to transfer them to a more appropriate course.
1.7 Changes to both private and group class schedules can only be made by written request via email at hello@spanish360.es.
1.8 In the event of absence from a scheduled private class, the teacher will wait for 20 minutes. If the student has not arrived or connected within this time, the class will be considered lost, and no refunds or reschedules will be provided.
1.9 Travel expenses, meals and drinks, exam fees, and third-party entry fees (museums, etc.) are not included in the price.
1.10 In the exceptional case that only one student enrolls in a certain course level, the number of classes will be reduced to 40% of the standard amount, and to 80% if there are only two students.
1.11 Spanish course groups have a maximum of 10 students.
2. HOLIDAYS
The school is closed on public holidays. In the unlikely event that two public holidays occur in the same week, classes will not be rescheduled for the second holiday.
- PAYMENT CONDITIONS
3.1 Advance payment is required to confirm a reservation.
3.2 The student’s name must be clearly indicated in all bank transfers.
3.3 Personal checks are not accepted.
4. COURSE REDUCTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
4.1 Cancellations are only accepted before the course begins and must be notified in writing. Cancellations made via telephone will not be considered valid.
4.2 For cancellations made more than two weeks before the start of the course (15 days or more), €100 of the advance payment will be retained.
4.3 For cancellations made within two weeks before the course begins (14 days or less), the full advance payment will be retained.
4.4 Under no circumstances will the course fee be refunded once the course has started.
4.5 In compliance with anti-money laundering legislation, refunds and transfers can only be issued to the person who booked/paid for the course.
4.6 Once the student has informed the school that they will not be able to attend a private class, the teacher will be notified that the class will not take place at the scheduled time.
4.7 In case of force majeure cancellation by the student, relevant documentation must be provided (e.g., medical certificate, death certificate, official document from the city council, visa rejection letter, or any document justifying the inability to start or continue classes). In this case, the school will issue a 100% refund within 30 days.
4.8 In case of force majeure cancellation by the school, students will be informed as soon as possible, and a 100% refund will be issued within 30 days, or classes will be rescheduled. The student may choose either the reschedule or the refund, but not both.
4.9 If the school cancels a course due to insufficient students, administrative issues, teacher availability problems, or any other school-related reasons, the student will receive a 100% refund within 30 days.
4.10 Right of Withdrawal for Online Bookings:
According to Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day period from the receipt of a product to exercise this right. During this period, the consumer can examine the product and decide whether to keep or return it. In the case of Spanish360, it is sufficient to send an email to hello@spanish360.es to exercise this right.
5. EXPULSION
5.1 The school reserves the right to cancel a student’s place if full payment has not been received by the arrival date.
5.2 In cases of disciplinary infractions, inappropriate behavior (such as lack of respect toward teachers, classmates, and staff), or violation of Spanish law, the student will be expelled from the school with no right to a refund.
6. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with Spanish Law Ley Orgánica 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the school informs you that your personal data provided in these general conditions will be stored in a database exclusively for commercial and operational purposes. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to this data processing and its use for the aforementioned purposes.
7. COPYRIGHT AND IMAGE RIGHTS
The school management reserves the right to use all graphic and audiovisual material recorded during students’ stay at the school (within school premises and during school-organized activities) in its promotional materials (photographs, audio recordings, videos, website, brochures, social media, etc.), unless the student states otherwise upon arrival.
By signing the enrollment form, which includes the express image rights clause, the student has the option to grant or deny the school the right to use their image for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation. This option is not mandatory, and students will not be explicitly asked to mark it during registration. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of photographs, audio recordings, and videos taken during classes, events, and other school activities.
The student has the right to withdraw consent at any time by notifying the school in writing. Once the notification is received, the school will stop using the student’s image in future promotional materials. However, this will not apply to materials already published or in production at the time of withdrawal.
Students acknowledge that their participation in school activities and presence on school premises may result in their inclusion in group images or recordings. In such cases, the school will make reasonable efforts to respect the student’s preferences but cannot guarantee exclusion from all group materials.
For any concerns or specific requests regarding the use of their image, students are encouraged to contact the school administration directly.
8. OTHER CONDITIONS
8.1 The school reserves the right to accept students aged 17 or younger.
8.2 In the event of damage caused to third parties, all expenses claimed by the school due to the incident will be charged to the student responsible.
8.3 The school assumes no liability in cases of force majeure (as defined in Article 1.105 of the Spanish Civil Code), theft, or student misconduct.
9. CONTRACT
Any reservation or payment confirms acceptance of these General Conditions.
