Levels
Our courses are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ensuring a structured and internationally recognized learning progression. Below, we outline the levels we offer:
A1 Access (60h.)
- Courses: A1.1 and A1.2
- Official DELE Diploma: Diploma DELE A1
No knowledge of Spanish is required at level A1. From the first day, students begin speaking Spanish and, throughout the two modules, learn to express needs, understand and use frequently used everyday expressions, as well as simple phrases intended to satisfy immediate needs.
A2 Platform (90h.)
- Courses: A2.1, A2.2 and A2.3
- Official DELE Diploma: DELE A2 Diploma
At level A2, you will learn to describe aspects of the past and your surroundings in simple terms, as well as issues related to immediate needs. You will be able to hold short conversations and, using simple phrases, describe everyday life, write postcards, simple letters, and short, simple stories.
B1 Threshold (120h.)
- Courses: B1.1, B1.2, B1.3 and B1.4
- Official DELE Diploma: DELE B1 Diploma
At level B1, you will acquire conversational skills on familiar topics and be able to use communication strategies to hold conversations about the past and the future. You will be able to read general texts and simple literary texts, as well as write letters and essays about everyday life.
B2 Advanced (150h.)
- Courses: B2.1, B2.2, B2.3, B2.4 and B2.5
- Official DELE Diploma: DELE Diploma B2
At level B2, students learn to provide detailed information on general topics, express themselves fluently, and write long texts. They are able to use communication strategies to hold a conversation in different contexts and situations.
C1 Proficiency (180h.)
- Courses: C1.1, C1.2, C1.3, C1.4, C1.5 and C1.6
- Official DELE Diploma: DELE Diploma C1
At level C1, you will be able to debate points of view, present arguments, and learn to use idiomatic expressions and other stylistic devices that allow for creative use of the language. You will have no difficulty reading contemporary Spanish and Latin American texts.
C2 Master’s Degree (210h.)
- Courses: C2.1, C2.2, C2.3, C2.4, C2.5 C2.6, C2.7
- Official DELE Diploma: DELE Diploma C2
At level C2, you can easily understand practically everything you hear or read. You can reconstruct information and arguments from various sources, whether spoken or written, and present them in a coherent and summarized manner. You can express yourself spontaneously, with great fluency and with a degree of precision that allows you to differentiate small nuances of meaning even in more complex situations.

Frequently asked questions about Spanish classes in Madrid
The duration of a regular class is 1.5 hours, with a frequency of twice a week.
The classes are divided into four aspects that we try to keep at the same level. Oral expression, written expression, listening comprehension and reading comprehension. We follow the CEFR parameters to structure the classes and make sure that the students are taking the content of their respective level.
All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers and speak English as a second language. We not only have teachers from Spain but also from Latin America, so the students get used to all kinds of accents. All of our teachers are experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Of course it is! Before joining the classes you will have an interview to determine your level and your goals to achieve, in order to place you in a group with a similar level and objective to yours.
We have many social activities at the school, such as board game nights, movie nights, museum trips and even trips to other cities.
Each class consists of the teacher and a maximum of 6 students. We assure our students that small groups will never exceed this number, as quality is the most important thing for us, as well as the opportunity to bring students closer to both the Spanish language and culture, depending on their needs.

We provide our students with all the necessary bibliographic material for the classes, and they should only bring a notebook and pen to take notes.
In case you have special needs, you can opt for private classes, which have a great flexibility of time and adjust to all types of routines.
At the end of the level we will give you a certificate of participation with no curricular value, but in case you need an official certificate we also prepare students specifically to take the DELE exam and obtain an official certificate.
In the case of group classes, students can cancel a maximum of once a month, 24 hours in advance, receiving during the same week a private 45-minute make-up class with their teacher so as not to fall behind their classmates in class.
In the case of private classes you can change the date and time of your class with a minimum of 24 hours notice without any penalty for the change.
